Double Value Program & FMNP Checks at the LSFM

On the left and right, compare how much more locally grown, delicious fresh foods become available to the SNAP shopper through the LINK Up Illinois program.

Attention LINK Card Holders and WIC/Seniors enrolled in Illinois DHS support services: the Logan Square Farmers Market can now match purchases made using LINK and WIC/Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) Checks, dollar-for-dollar up to $15/market day, in Double Value Coupons to be spent like cash on fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs and food producing plants at the Logan Square Farmers Market. The program will run through March 25, 2018.

How it works:

  • Before using your WIC/Senior FMNP check(s), go to the Chamber of Commerce table to receive your Double Value Coupons. Checks will only be matched once. Checks may be matched up to $15 per market day.
  • To make purchases with LINK, visit all of the vendors you’d like to make a purchase from that day using your LINK card. You will receive a yellow slip with the vendor’s name and amount of purchase. Take your slips to the Chamber of Commerce stall to process your payments. At that time, you will receive the corresponding amount of Double Value Coupons.

All produce farmers at the Logan Square Farmers Market are eligible to accept Double Value Coupons as well as WIC/Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program Checks as currency at the Logan Square Farmers Market. These coupons are not redeemable for cash. No change will be given. The LSFM Double Value coupons will not be eligible at other markets, nor will LSFM farmers be able to accept Double Value Coupons from other markets. Coupons must be used by March 25, 2018.
