Become a Vendor

Thank you for your interest in the Logan Square Farmers Market. We receive a large volume of applicants per season. Applications without an accompanying application fee will not be read or considered. Interested applicants must be the primary producer of their food or agricultural product, based within the Chicago foodshed (within 200mi or less of Logan Square, Chicago). Non-raw agricultural items must be processed and prepared in a certified, inspected kitchen by certified staff. (Please note: coffee purveyors and roasters are not permitted at the Outdoor 2017 market. Coffee sales are prohibited at the Outdoor 2017 market.)

There are two primary application periods for the Logan Square Farmers Market. The application period for the Outdoor Market season will run mid-winter through late-winter. The application period for the Indoor Market season will run late-summer through early fall. Vendors with outstanding balances will not be considered. Please note that application does not guarantee acceptance to the market. The Logan Square Farmers Market reviews all applications carefully and accepts vendors that best meet market needs. Due to a high volume of applicants, we are not able to respond to general inquiries. Applications for the Logan Square Farmers Market 2017 Outdoor Season (running Sundays beginning May 14, 2017 through October 29, 2017), are now available in hard-copy form. The online applications will be available by Monday, February 20. The deadline for applications, material submissions, and application fees will be March 20, 2017, at midnight. Please review the Rules & Regulations in full before submitting an application. *In 2017, acceptance to the market will be more strongly weighted toward vendors: (1) committed to using biodegradable disposables, (2) processors & prepared food vendors sourcing fresh produce from our farm vendors and/or local producers, with proof of purchasing relationships.*

The deadline for priority consideration for the Indoor 2016-17 Market was September 30, 2016. The Indoor Market began on Sunday, November 6, and runs weekly (excluding November 27, December 25 (Christmas), and January 1, 2017 (New Year’s Day) until Sunday, March 26, 2017, with an additional holiday market on Thursday, December 22, from 3pm-8pm.

(1) ALL APPLICANTS for the Outdoor 2017 Season must read and accept the Outdoor 2017 Season Rules & Regulations.

(2) Then, choose your preferred method of submitting the application below….

Option A: Online Form: Use the following Web Browser for this option: Safari or Google Chrome. It’s recommended you set aside enough time to complete the application fully. When you have completed and submitted the online application, you will see a finished version of your submission. You should receive a complete copy of the application for yourself, upon submission. Should more information be needed, you will be permitted to update the information in the original application. We encourage you to save your application for yourself. You may download the application as a PDF for your records.

Upon completion of the online form, you must submit additional documents (proof of insurance, sales tax id, and any other certifications acknowledged or required by the application).
